The Latchy Catchy evolved when I got so tired of hearing our bedroom door slam, waking baby Karson, that I attached a sock (covering the latch) with a rubber band on each knob. It was quite the eye sore, and we decided there had to be a more attractive solution. Turns out, there was, and it is now called a Latchy Catchy!
